"The early bird catches the worm". Our journey begins early, with a 7 a.m. departure from Düsseldorf to Tromsø, where Polarstern awaits. After dropping off our special equipment the night before, the check-in process goes smoothly, setting the stage for our upcoming Arctic expedition.

Arrival in Tromsø: Gateway to Arctic Exploration

Tromsø, the city in the glow of the midnight sun, arrives promptly. We take advantage of our early arrival to familiarize ourselves with this historic city.
